The National Gallery of Art Library is looking for an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Library Systems Administrator. You will play an essential role by administering library systems, leading staff in effective and current processes, representing the library’s technical needs both within the institution and to outside vendors and consortia projects, supporting robust digital collections and metadata programs, responding to technical support requests with a service mindset, anticipating changes and updates as well as identifying opportunities for innovation. You will report to the Chief Librarian within the Exhibitions, Programs, and Audience Engagement Division and will chiefly interact with librarians in an active art museum library setting. You will also engage across the museum with colleagues in information security, systems architecture, financial management systems, and digital asset management. You will join a team with a spirit of collegiality, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
