  • Teaching and Curriculum Development:
    • Assist faculty across disciplines in integrating AI into their courses, providing guidance and support for course redesigns and new course development.
  • Faculty Development:
    • Design and conduct faculty development workshops on AI, catering to various levels of familiarity and expertise.

    • Engage with peer institutions and professional networks to share best practices and promote collaborative efforts in AI education.
  • Assessment and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement assessment metrics to evaluate the success of the initiative, including pre- and post-workshop surveys, course evaluations, and research project outcomes.
    • Prepare regular reports on the progress and impact of the initiative for internal and external stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities

The fellow will report to the Director of Research Support & Curricular Technology within Library & Information Technology and will be co-located with library staff dedicated to instructional technology and digital scholarship. The College will match the fellow with a faculty mentor in an appropriate discipline to ensure that they continue to be engaged with their scholarly interests and assess appropriate career opportunities. This is a two-year position to help jumpstart our AI efforts across campus. Please note that unlike research fellowships that offer opportunities for fellows to pursue an independent research agenda, this will be the secondary focus of their work.
