Description
We have two openings available in the Digital Preservation unit at the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration for a GS-0301-13 Senior Digital Preservation Specialist/Analyst.
As a Senior Digital Preservation Specialist/Analyst, you will:
- Advise the Director and Deputy Director of Digital Preservation in the ongoing development, implementation, and operation of the digital preservation program as well as on recommendations for the development and implementation of digital preservation strategies, technologies, guidance, risk criteria, and procedures.
- Participate in and manage in short- and long-term projects and initiatives related to the management and ongoing preservation of electronic record holdings.
- Gathers, interprets, and analyzes highly complex data to discern patterns, trends, and relationships to draw conclusions about digital collections.
- Serve as a digital preservation subject matter expert and provide consultation for colleagues internal and external to the agency.
The job is located in College Park, MD and is telework eligible per Agency policy.
