The UCLA Library is looking for someone to build connections between campus faculty and our robust collections of digital assets. Reporting to the Head of the Digital Library Program, the Research Services Developer (RSD) develops and maintains processes and software services to make locally managed digital assets usable for research. The RSD is responsible for serving both novice and experienced researchers in making effective use of the Library's unique collections as well as in developing new research computing skills. The RSD connects with faculty and research centers across campus to develop a plan for increasing the utility of the assets curated by the Digital Library Program. The RSD provides consultation services through the Library's Data Science Center service. The RSD is part of the Library's cohort of Carpentries instructors and participates in teaching workshops.
