Stanford Libraries seeks a Repository Manager to support the operations and services of the Stanford Digital Repository, a system built, operated, and maintained by Stanford Libraries for the long-term management of digital content of enduring value to teaching and research at Stanford and the greater cultural heritage community. The SDR contains over 800 terabytes of content, including maps, manuscripts, photos, books, theses, articles, audio, video, web archives, research data, software, 3D scans, and more.
The Repository Manager joins Stanford Libraries' distinguished and widely-recognized team of 65 staff -- service managers, project managers, software developers, information architects, user experience designers, digital production specialists, devops engineers, system administrators, data analysts, and academic technologists -- with combined decades of expertise in building tools and infrastructure and delivering services in support of research and teaching. Stanford Libraries is a leader in the global library and cultural heritage technology communities, leads and contributes to open source projects, and helps develop and advance open standards.
