Description

We are recruiting for two project archivist positions. One position will focus on processing University Archives collections and is a one year term position. The other position is a two year term position that will focus on processing archival collections related to UW Extension.

Under the supervision of the University Archivist and Head of UW Archives, the Project Processing Archivists will specialize in archival arrangement and description. These positions will work on new and existing collections in a wide variety of formats. The Project Processing Archivists will contribute to an important project to re-process and relocate archival collections to offsite storage.

Those selected for each of these Project Processing Archivist positions must have strong organizational and communication skills and a keen attention to detail. They will work in a highly collaborative work environment, which requires an ability and desire to engage daily in inclusive practices.
