Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:
Master's Degree MLIS, MS, or MA with concentration in archival administration, or equivalent experience.
1+ years 1 (+) years of technical project management experience in a cultural heritage or research library setting. Experience with metadata schemas, vocabularies and content standards and various encoding/transmission formats. Demonstrated success working collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals (both local and remote).
1+ years Experience working with digital library or publishing projects of significant complexity. Familiarity with complex digital objects and/or publishing workflow.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of metadata standards and protocols. Management skills, including the ability to create and implement project plans and schedules, develop technical documentation, establish high performance standards, and deliver quality results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to report about complex data.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with metadata standards commonly used in digital preservation.
