The Dartmouth College Library is seeking a skilled and motivated colleague for our Library Technology Coordinator position. We're looking for someone who can work well in support of a staff of around 130 people who have varying levels of comfort with technology.

The chief responsibility of this position will be making sure that hardware and software work well for library staff.

Some key duties:

provisioning, supporting and maintaining laptops, desktops computers, electronic displays, and more
making recommendations about what technology might be appropriate for a given use case
configuring and supporting meeting spaces where staff working in-person can meet with staff working remotely
supporting some of the systems the library uses to do its work - this will include troubleshooting for our Ex Libris Alma system, training staff, and tracking service requests with vendors
provisioning and maintaining patron-facing computers and printers
working with our IT colleagues to ensure that the library’s technology for meeting and teaching spaces matches the technology used in classrooms across campus

Troubleshooting, creating documentation about common technology problems and solutions, and bringing a systematic approach to the library’s technology practices will be keys to success in this position.
