The Electronic Resources and Description Librarian reports to the Director of Resource Management and Description and is responsible for managing the library’s electronic resources (including, but not limited to, databases, journals, ebooks, and streaming video) throughout their acquisition and renewal lifecycle. Creates and maintains bibliographic description and discoverability of resources in ILS, discovery platform, ERM, and other tools, with an emphasis on problem solving for items requiring more than routine handling, in accordance with national standards. Works in coordination with Acquisitions and Electronic Resources Coordinators on new and renewal workflows.
