In the nearly 100 years since its founding, the Robert Schalkenbach Foundation has collected numerous documents and other materials related to the ideas and teachings of 19th century social activist Henry George and like-minded thinkers. Many of these items, which are of interest to economists and political theorists, as well as private enthusiasts known as "Georgists," are rare or completely unique, and it is our desire to make them available and easily searchable by scholars and the public at large.
RSF is seeking a student intern or part-time, temporary staffer to support the Foundation's efforts to create a digital database to house 25,000+ records of various types. The successful candidate will have experience in database creation and maintenance, and will be able to guide and support staff-led efforts in these and related activities.
