GBH produces the best and most well-known television, radio and online programs for public media. The GBH Archives preserves and helps re-purpose GBH creations into the future. The Archives establishes the policies and procedures for the access, acquisition, intellectual control, and preservation of GBH's physical media and digital production and administrative assets. The Archives also offers production organization of archival materials from projects start up to shut down, research services, rights clearances, and licenses GBH stock footage. The Archives, in collaboration with the Library of Congress, is a steward of the American Archive of Public Broadcasting.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, technology-curious professional to fill the position of Software Developer in the Digital Archives unit of the GBH Archives. This position will join a team of two other developers and work on a range of platforms such as the Avalon Media System, the American Archive of Public Broadcasting, the Archives’ Archival Metadata System (which is a Samvera/Fedora application), and the Mellon-funded CLAMS project.
