Education Requirements ALA accredited Masters in Library/Information Science or equivalent advanced degree. Thirteen years of experience within a research library (or related) environment, including administrative experience.
Minimum Compensation in Local Currency $120,000

The Libraries’ new strategic plan includes an expansive and holistic approach to research services at the University of Minnesota in support of MPact2025, the University's strategic plan. The Associate University Librarian (AUL) provides visionary, strategic, and creative senior leadership for the Libraries’ Research unit, working in a highly collaborative model with AULs for Collections & Content Strategy and Student Success. The unit integrates Liaison Librarians from the Physical and Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Area Studies and Humanities with functional specialists involved with Specialized Research Consulting, including data curation; Digital, Art, Sciences, and Humanities (DASH); Publishing; and Research Information Management.
